Chairman of the board
Gunnar Brock has served as a board member of Stena AB since 2011. He was appointed chairman of the board of Stena AB in 2017. Mr Brock also serves as chairman of the board of Mölnlycke Health Care AB, Stora Enso Oy and Roling Optics AB. Mr Brock is a director on the board of Investor AB, Stockholm School of Economics, Total SA, SOS Children Villages Sweden.
Dan Sten Olsson
Chief Executive Officer
Dan Sten Olsson has served as Chief Executive Officer and a director of Stena AB since 1983. Mr Olsson also serves as member or chairman of the board of a majority of the main companies in the Stena Sphere. Mr Olsson has been employed by Stena AB since 1972.
Mia Brunell Livfors
Mia has served as board member of Stena AB since 2014. She has been CEO of Axel Johnsson since 2015. Mia held various positions at Kinnevik over a period of 22 years, the last eight of which she served as CEO of Investment AB Kinnevik. Mia is Chairman of Axel Johnson International, Axfood, Dustin Group AB, KICKS, and Åhléns and director of Martin & Servera and Efva Attling Stockholm. Mia studied economics at Stockholm University.
Deputy board member of Stena AB (Employee representative)
Pia Carlsson has served as a deputy board member of Stena AB, representing Stena AB employees affiliated with the Swedish Union of Commercial Employees, since 2009. Ms Carlsson is a Fleet Manning Manager and has been employed in our ferry operations since 1990.
Christian Caspar has served as a board member of Stena AB since 2011. Mr. Caspar is also a director of Bonnier AB, Industrivärlden AB, Goodgrower SA and serves as an advisor to Benteler AG and Triton. Mr. Caspar is also a director of Mckinsey for Children Switzerland.
Service manager. BSc Oxford Brookes. Employed by Stena Group since 2003. Board member of Stena AB since 2021. Other current assignments are Club Chairman Sjöbefälsföreningen. Board member as employee representative Stena Line Scandinavia AB.
Vivienne Cox is Chairman of Vallourec. She is Senior Independent director at Pearson plc, a Non-Executive Director with GSK and with Stena International AB. She has been the Lead Independent Director at DFID since 2010, and was on the Airports Commission. Vivienne also worked for BP for 28 years. Her last full time role with the company was as Executive Vice President of the Gas Power and Renewables segment. A graduate of Oxford and INSEAD, she is a Vice President of the Energy Institute, and a member of the Trilateral Commission, and on the Advisory Boards of SAID Business School and the African Leadership Institute.
Marie Eriksson was appointed as a board member of Stena AB in 2020. Ms Eriksson is also a member of the board of directors of Stena Metall AB, Fastighets AB Kalvringen, Stena Sessan Line AB and Formica Capital AB.
Casper von Koskull
Casper von Koskull was appointed as board member of Stena AB in 2020. He has a 38 year career in international banking, the last position being CEO of Nordea Bank AB. Prior to Nordea he was partner at Goldman Sachs in London. Casper serves as chairman of Heimstaden Bostad AB and the European Business Leaders Convention and is director on the boards of Fazer AB and Ductor Oy.
William Olsson has served as a board member of Stena AB since 2012. He is also the Chairman of the Board of Stena Sessan AB and member of the board of Stena Metall AB. Apart from his work within the Stena group, Mr Olsson has directed, as well as produced, a number of feature films over the years. He holds an MFA from USC School of Cinematic Arts and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
Deputy board member
Anne-Marie Pouteaux has served as a board member of Stena AB since 2008. Mrs Pouteaux is a partner of Wistrand Advokatbyrå Göteborg KB and also a member of the board of directors of Stena Bulk AB.
Daniel Holmgren has served as a board member of Stena AB, representing Stena AB employees affiliated with the Swedish Seamen’s Union, since 2021. Other current assigments are, club section chairman Seko sjöfolk, Stena Line. Employee representative Concordia Maritime AB and Stena Line Scandinavia AB. Mr Holmgren is an able seaman and has been employed in our ferry operations since 2002.
Lars Westerberg has served as a board member of Stena AB since 2011. Mr Westerberg also serves as chairman of the board of Husqvarna AB and is a director on the board of AB Volvo (publ.), SSAB Svenskt Stål AB and Sandvik AB.
