Stena Line is one of the world’s largest ferry operators with significant market shares in all its market sectors. This strong position is a result of strategic company acquisitions coupled with continual service and product development. Stena Line AB consists of four business areas: Scandinavia, North Sea and Irish Sea.

The route network consists of 18 strategically located ferry routes in Scandinavia and around the UK. The fleet consists of 35 vessels: fast HSS ferries, traditional combi-ferries, RoPax ferries for passengers and freight, and RoRo ferries for freight only. Stena Line has in total around 5 700 employees, of whom around two-thirds are employed onboard., The shipping company Scandlines AB has also been a wholly-owned subsidiary of Stena Line since 2000.

Stena Bulk is a leading international tanker shipping company with a fleet of around 70 tankers. Stena Bulk’s head office is in Göteborg with local offices in Houston, London, Helsinki, Rio and Singapore. Stena Bulk has around 50 employees. The business concept is built on Innovation and Performance; Innovation by putting ourselves in the customer’s business position and finding new ways of improving their competitiveness by looking at vessel design unconventionally. Performance by providing a well-developed logistics network.

Stena Bulk also has complete responsibility for running, marketing and customer support for Concordia Maritime’s fleet.

Stena RoRo was one of the first players on the international RoRo market and is considered the standard-bearer for technical developments of advanced RoRo and RoPax vessels. Stena RoRo’s extensive experience and solid understanding about vessel operation coupled with close customer proximity gives the company a strong competitive advantage.

The fleet consists of RoRo vessels (solely used for trucks and trailers) and RoPax vessels (combined RoRo and passenger vessels). Stena RoRo charters around 10 vessels to operators around the world.

Northern Marine Management is an international ship manning company with just over 6 500 employed seafarers. The business concept is to retain a position as an industry-leading supplier of management, manning, training and other support services within the maritime sector.

The head office is in Glasgow, Scotland. Northern Marine Management hires out personnel to Stena AB, Concordia Maritime and ChevronTexaco, among others.

Stena Drilling is one of the world’s leading companies in the development, construction and operation of offshore drilling rigs and drillships. Stena Drilling owns and runs an international drilling operation based on experience from projects in the North Sea, South East Asia, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, South America, North Africa, the Gulf of Mexico, Australia and West Africa.

The company has around 650 employees and the head office is in Aberdeen, Scotland. The marketing department is in Houston, USA, and in addition there are a number of satellite offices that can be set up anywhere in the world to support offshore and drilling projects in progress.

Stena Fastigheter is one of Sweden's largest property companies. The company started 26 years ago and today manages around 24 000 residential properties and 3 000 commercial premises. The business concept is built on the right of tenancy as the form of tenure, which places high demands on service and quality. Management is carried out by in-house personnel at offices in Göteborg, Malmö, Stockholm, Uppsala, Umeå and Halmstad.

Stena Fastigheter's objective is to provide safe, pleasant residential and commercial premises through an organisation built on environmental considerations, cooperation, service and quality. The long-term objective is that the company will achieve good profitability and growth through customer satisfaction and offer tenants, employees and owners safety and stability.

Stena Finance is responsible for the Group's capital procurement in both the short and long term. This includes running the Group's liquidity management, risk handling, strategic investments and responsibility for financial monitoring and financial reporting.

Stena Finance acts as an advisor to the operating units in connection with identifying, analysing and carrying out new deals. The company has the competence needed to carry out projects from start to finish.

The business is run from offices in Göteborg, Zug, Amsterdam, Luxembourg and Singapore.

Stena Adactum is Stena AB's investment company that makes long-term investments in companies where Stena Adactum can take an active ownership role as well as contributing financial strength. Active ownership mainly involves safeguarding a skilled management team and developing strategies to achieve persistent growth.

One of Stena Adactum's main objectives is to create platforms for future business areas within Stena AB. Another comprehensive objective is to invest in small to mid-cap listed companies where good expansion possibilities exist. Via Stena Adactum's investments Stena AB has a significant commitment in security, kitchen and bathroom interiors, self-care products, lift and fastener systems and wind power, amongst others.

Stena Teknik is a general resource for all maritime business areas within the Stena Sphere. Its activities consist of newbuilding and conversion projects, general marine technical advice and procurement and contract support, as well as research and development in the marine sector.

At Stena Teknik staff have leading skills and solid expertise in newbuilding projects, ship management, project management, shipyards, classification societies, procurement and contracts.
